Schenck RoTec presents new pair of machines for balancing of turbochargers
During this year’s Automechanika in Frankfurt, Germany, Schenck RoTec will be presenting two new complete solutions for high precision balancing of turbochargers: TBpro and TBxpert. Both machines are tailor-made for use in research and development as well as low-volume production. They feature a wide range of evaluation, analysis, and export functions.
Development engineers, prototype service providers, or low-volume production manufacturers visiting the Automechanika (September 11 - 15, 2018) should make sure to stop by Schenck RoTec. At booth B08 in exhibition hall 5.1, the machine manufacturer will show its two new machines for balancing turbochargers – TBpro and TBxpert – for the first time. These two machines are compact systems. Their key features are high measurement accuracy, ease of use, and highly efficient process control. Both machines are guaranteed to deliver exact balancing results, high product quality, and economical processes. TBpro is tailor-made for balancing traditional turbocharger components and permanently magnetized rotors weighing up to 15 kg. TBxpert specializes in high-speed unbalance measurement of installed turbocharger core assemblies. Both new monobloc machines have innovative mineral casting frames that prove to be insensitive towards external influences, They operate with the CAB measuring device technology by Schenck RoTec tried and tested in the industry. The user has a wide range of functions available for evaluating and analyzing the measurement results.
Large area of application
Both, the new TBpro as well as the new TBxpert by Schenck RoTec, can be used in a wide range of applications for balancing in automobile manufacturing. Both machines are easy to position with a lift truck. Since they don’t need a foundation and don’t have to be fastened to the floor, they can be used right away after they have been aligned.
